fundraising ideas for a trip to Jamaica with Projects Abroad (orphanage work)?
I’m going to be volunteering at an orphanage in Mandeville, Jamaica next year but I need to start fundraising ASAP. I’m going as an individual with Projects Abroad so other than my close friends and family, I don’t have much help when it comes to fundraising events. I found a fundraising website and I thought the silicone bracelets would be a cool thing to sell but I can’t decide what colors to use or what text to have printed on the bracelets. I want to say something about Jamaica but I’m having a hard time coming up with ideas. I would prefer something short and comparable to the “hope for haiti” slogan. I’ve also thought about ordering t-shirts or lanyards but I’m running into the same problem deciding on what to have printed on them. I’ll be able to print more on T-shirts so there’s more creative room. Any other fundraising ideas will be greatly appreciated!
